Jacqueline D.: I have been a surrogate mother for California Surrogacy Center for [a year and a half].
California Surrogacy Center: Was this your first experience as a surrogate mother?
Jacqueline D.: This was my first experience as a surrogate mother.
California Surrogacy Center: What inspired you to become a surrogate mother?
Jacqueline D.: Growing up, I always knew that one day I wanted to become a mother. When that day came and I became a mother, everything changed. I knew from that moment forward that I wanted to help a family experience that feeling of becoming parents. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with California Surrogacy Center and help a family.
California Surrogacy Center: Were you nervous about it? Why or why not? What helped you overcome this?
Jacqueline D.: I was not nervous at all because I had very easy pregnancies with my children and I knew I was doing this to help someone achieve their dream of becoming [a parent].
California Surrogacy Center: Did you enjoy being a surrogate mother? What was your favorite part?
Jacqueline D.: I did enjoy being a surrogate mother; my favorite [parts of being a surrogate mother were] knowing that I was able to help a family bring a baby into this world and seeing the parents hold their baby for the first time.
